Eleanor founded Meridian in 2014 following a twelve-year career in organisational psychology and executive development. With a Doctorate in Organisational Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, and over 3,000 hours of professional coaching, she is one of the most experienced executive coaches in the United Kingdom.

Eleanor specialises in working with senior leaders navigating complexity, transition, and significant organisational change. Her approach combines deep psychological understanding with a warm, direct style that clients consistently describe as transformative. She is particularly known for her work with leaders in the public sector, healthcare, and professional services.

Alongside her coaching practice, Eleanor is a guest lecturer on leadership and coaching at two leading UK business schools and sits on the ICF UK Advisory Board.

Before joining Meridian, James spent eighteen years in senior management roles across the manufacturing, engineering, and retail sectors — including seven years as a Managing Director. He brings a rare depth of lived leadership experience to his coaching practice, understanding the pressures and complexities of leading large organisations from the inside.

James works primarily with mid-career and senior leaders in the private sector, helping them to develop their strategic thinking, build resilient teams, and step confidently into greater responsibility. His coaching style is characterised by challenge, directness, and a sharp business acumen that clients find refreshingly practical.

He holds an MBA from Cranfield School of Management and is an accredited coach with both the ICF and EMCC.

Dr. Priya Mehta is a Chartered Psychologist specialising in organisational development, culture change, and systemic consultation. With a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from Warwick Business School and fifteen years of consulting experience, she brings a rigorous and evidence-based lens to complex organisational challenges.

Priya works at the intersection of people and systems — helping organisations understand why they behave the way they do, and how to create the conditions for sustainable change. She has led culture transformation projects for FTSE 250 companies, government departments, and several prominent third-sector organisations.

She is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a visiting fellow at the University of Bath's School of Management. She is also a passionate advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Sophie joined Meridian in 2019, bringing with her a specialism in wellbeing, resilience, and positive psychology that has rapidly become one of the most sought-after offerings in the practice. Her background spans clinical mental health, corporate wellbeing strategy, and professional coaching — giving her a uniquely holistic perspective on sustainable performance.

She works with individuals experiencing high levels of occupational stress, those recovering from burnout, and organisations seeking to embed genuine wellbeing into their culture. Her approach draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), positive psychology, and mindfulness-based approaches — all applied with warmth, pragmatism, and creative energy.

Sophie speaks regularly at conferences on the topic of workplace wellbeing and is a regular contributor to HR and management publications across the UK.
